Even with the current economic downturn, locally-based Chartway Federal Credit Union shows growth, as it announces its newest branch opening on Tuesday, April 28th.
In an effort to provide its membership with optimum resources and convenience, Chartway Federal Credit Union will open its newest branch in Virginia Beach inside the newly renovated Farm Fresh Supermarket at 1615 General Booth Boulevard. Chartway’s in-store branch will provide a customer-friendly design that allows Farm Fresh shoppers to quickly and easily perform all of their financial business while shopping for groceries. The branch will feature a full-service office where customers can apply for membership, acquire savings, deposit, and investment products, as well as apply for loans. The store will offer a surcharge-free ATM for Chartway members. The branch will be open for business from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday), and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
“Our branches in local Farm Fresh stores offer convenience, value, and friendly service,” states Chartway President and CEO Ron Burniske. “This is a difficult time for many and Chartway is here to provide a beacon of hope and support to our current and future membership.”
Customers will have the opportunity to register for a three-minute shopping spree sponsored by both companies, which will take place on June 22nd. Customers can sign up for the spree at the new location between April 28th and June 15th, and don’t have to be a Chartway member to enter.
Chartway is also open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at www.chartway.com.
