As the charitable arm of Chartway Federal Credit Union, the We Promise Foundation is dedicated to making dreams come true for children struggling with degenerative, life-threatening, debilitating or chronic illnesses, or those facing tremendous hardship. The foundation’s mission is simple: to put a smile on a child’s face by making their dreams come true. Launched in 2005 based off of the enduring success of Chartway’s previous charitable events, the foundation today provides funding within the communities that the credit union services.

*Drawing will be held on September 1, 2011. For each donation you make to the We Promise Foundation between July 8, 2011 and August 31, 2011 you have an opportunity to win a $100 VISA gift card. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. No purchase necessary. Drawing will take place on September 1, 2011 at Chartway Federal Credit Union’s Corporate Headquarters located at 160 Newtown Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Winner need not be present to win. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner and winner agrees to hold associated parties harmless of all damages, consequential or otherwise, that may occur as a result of winning the prize. At the sole discretion of the We Promise Foundation, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of alternate winners may result from any of the following: [1] potential winners’ failure to respond to notification within ten (10) days after first attempt to contact [2] the return of any other notice or a prize as undeliverable [3] potential winners’ failure to validly claim any prize before September 11, 2011; and [4] any other non-compliance with Rules. In the event of a prize forfeiture, We Promise Foundation may, in its sole discretion, award or not award the forfeited prize to an alternate winner.
